Fundscrip Update

Dear Amped 2 Go Malawi 2012 Friend,

We have an exciting new feature on Our Fundscrip Gift Card Fundraiser to tell you about: it’s called Direct Shipping.

Now you can simply place your own orders online and have them shipped directly to your home or a Canadian address of your choice - just like any normal e-commerce purchase. This feature will open up a whole new world of possibilities for our fundraising efforts because all potential supporters who don’t live nearby can now participate. 

Moreover, this option also allows you to place orders off-schedule, whenever you like to buy gifts for others, make impulse purchases, take advantage of promotion and contests, or just make order payments coincide with your pay days.

Unlike orders that are shipped to our group for distribution, Direct Shipping orders are paid for by the supporter at the time of purchase. Direct Shipping orders can be placed at any time without interfering with our Group’s existing schedule because Direct Shipping orders are processed individually once payment is received.

• Signing up:
• Go to www.fundscrip.com and click Sign up at the top right-hand corner of the page
• Complete the sign up process – our group’s invitation code is: 8E86TJ
• If applicable, provide the specific campaign to select - Amped 2 Go Malawi 2012.
• When ordering:
• Select the Direct Shipping option in the Shipping section before checking out. (It’s in the Order Summary on the right of the list of cards. Click “change” or the pencil icon.)
• Add a shipping address:
• Select the shipping address and the price for shipping will be displayed and added to the total of the order
• Payment methods:
• Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT- no fees. Requires completed application form and void cheque sent to FundScrip to be activated)  This is the easiest form of payment, and it's FREE.  All you need is the form, VOID cheque, and fax machine or scanner to email it in.
• Interac Online for those with accounts at the following financial institutions: RBC Royal Bank; BMO Bank of Montreal, ScotiaBank and TD Toronto Dominion (earnings are reduced by 0.85 cents per transaction)
• Credit Card (earnings are reduced by 1.99%/transaction)
• And shortly, Online Banking Bill Payment (no fees – coming in March 2012)
• Shipping:
• Order are shipped via Canada Post Xpresspost and includes tracking emailed directly to the supporter
• Orders should arrive in about 3-5 days of payment being confirmed by FundScrip
• Canada Post Xpresspost service will make one delivery attempt. If the recipient is not there, Canada Post will leave the order at the closest post office, where the recipient can pick it up by showing photo ID 
• There will be a  small fee which will be indicated on your order.  However, the benefit is that  this is the fastest way to get your order to you.
• Customer Service:
• FundScrip’s customer service department (MemberCare) will handle any issues with direct shipping orders directly with the Supporter
• All MemberCare contact information is included on the order confirmation email; so they will know who to contact if they have any questions or issues

Please consider getting the word out to all your friends & family requesting that they support our fundraising goal when they buy groceries, gas, household items, and all their gifts for those special occasions. After all, we’re buying these things anyway, why not earn money for our goal at the same time!
